The Arts Society Wimbledon (charity number:1209911) is a member society of The Arts Society, which was founded in 1968 as NADFAS. It is now a leading arts education charity with a global network of local societies which bring people together through a shared love for the arts. The belief that the arts have the potential to enrich people's lives is at the heart of the organsiation.
Here in Wimbledon we offer a welcoming place to hear expert lecturers share their specialist knowledge in a programme of illustrated lectures in the meeting hall and simultaneously on Zoom. Lectures last for around an hour, followed by questions. In addition we offer tailor-made group visits to places of interest around London and day trips further afield. A bespoke tour in the UK or abroad is also an annual feature of our programme.
New members are always most welcome.
The subscriptions for the second half of 2026 are:
£25 Individual
£25 Individual Under 30
£48 Joint (for two people living at the same address)
If you wish to attend an individual lecture, you are very welcome to do so as a visitor at a suggested donation of £10.
Members receive the Arts Society Review magazine three times a year.
